Break & Fix support for front-line systems, problem resolution, repair, installation, maintenance, and/or general support for computer equipment. Includes proactive activities.               

Activities Support activities and review of hardware failures. Obtaining information for the generation and execution of firmware updates. Carry out proactive monitoring of equipment. Perform preventive maintenance activities on hardware. Answer calls to resolve questions or address problems related to server failures. Technical analysis on specific problems and determine the critical path to achieve the solution. The engineer will only provide support, the route is determined through the teams' support contract. Activities that involve turning equipment on and off due to emergencies or preventive maintenance, depending on the tasks and activities previously committed. Make recommendations to improve equipment availability if applicable. Hardware reconfiguration, if required, will be supported by the engineer as long as it is within his or her capabilities and knowledge. If the participation of additional specialists is required, it will be out of scope, since a consultative service is required. The on-site engineer will have a 40-hour day per week during business hours. ​
