Network Security Engineer

Network Engineer Job Responsibilities:
* Design and implement advanced network segmentation, to include operational technology (OT) networks, as well as a focus on a zero-trust network model
* Work in a mixed vendor environment
* Design, install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot the vast majority of implementations based on the Cisco Networks platform
* Perform network segmentation and micro segmentation techniques to support replacing all current firewalls in the environment to include rewriting policies and segmentation to further increase overall security
* Create an environment for ICS, manufacturing equipment and development labs to process information off the EBCUN where they can receive IT services such as virus updates, software updates, patching, scanning, IDS/ IPS, firewalls, etc.

Network Engineer Job Requirements:
* B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
* 5+ years of related experience with either Palo Alto or Cisco firewalls
* DoD industry experience is preferred
* In-depth knowledge and abilities to design, install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot the vast majority of implementations based on the Cisco Networks platform.
* In-depth knowledge of network segmentation and micro segmentation techniques.
