Network Security Engineer

Skills Required:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with Check Point and/or Palo Alto firewall systems in a large enterprise environment
• Check Point and/or Palo Alto Certification, preferred
• Experience with Enterprise Firewall policy management with Check Point and Palo Alto Firewalls
• Experience with VMWare NSX Distributed firewalls (optional)
• Experience with Enterprise Firewall Policy reviews, audits and remediation
• Experience with Firewall Policy management and Compliance tool – Tufin (Optional)
• Experience with Automation of firewall rule creation and reporting – Python and Terraform (Optional)
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related analytical field or equivalent experience

Special Qualifications:

• Ability to update firewall policies/rules and troubleshoot as needed

Work Description:

• Perform problem determination and resolution on Check Point and Palo Alto firewall policies
• Perform firewall policy auditing and compliance using Tufin
