Network Security Engineer

Skills Required:

Minimum 5 years of experience working with Check Point and/or Palo Alto firewall systems in a large enterprise environment
Check Point and/or Palo Alto Certification, preferred
Experience with Enterprise Firewall policy management with Check Point and Palo Alto Firewalls
Experience with VMWare NSX Distributed firewalls (optional)
Experience with Enterprise Firewall Policy reviews, audits and remediation
Experience with Firewall Policy management and Compliance tool – Tufin (Optional)
Experience with Automation of firewall rule creation and reporting – Python and Terraform (Optional)
Excellent teamwork and communication skills (written and verbal)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related analytical field or equivalent experience
 

Special Qualifications:

Ability to update firewall policies/rules and troubleshoot as needed
 

Work Description:

Network Security Engineering – Firewalls Policy Management and Compliance, Problem determination

Configure firewall policies based on submitted access requests
Perform problem determination and resolution on Check Point and Palo Alto firewall policies
Perform firewall policy auditing and compliance using Tufin
