Key Responsibilities:
As an NOC Engineer I, you will play a pivotal role in providing foundational support for monitoring and managing the client’s core, distribution, carrier last mile, and customer premise voice and data services.
This position focuses on developing your technical skills and understanding of network operations.
Your responsibilities include assisting with routine network surveillance, basic system troubleshooting, and documenting incidents and their resolutions.
You will work closely with senior engineers to escalate issues beyond your scope, learning to prioritize tasks in a dynamic 24x7 network operations center environment.
Additionally, you will engage in training sessions to enhance your knowledge of deployed technologies and contribute to maintaining operational documentation.
This role provides a strong foundation for growing your expertise in network operations and prepares you for more complex tasks and responsibilities.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Skills-NOC; Fiber/Wireless provider NOC; Layer 1&3.
Target Years of Exp: Minimum 5 years of experience only if they had a 4-year bachelor’s degree in the technology field. 10+ if no Bachelor’s degree.
Must have a minimum associate degree in technology
Strong understating of Layer 1 (Physical) and Layer 3 Protocols (Data)
NOC (Network Operation Center) engineer background
Previous fiber or provider NOC experience
Strong Telecom background.
