Description

Summary: The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the successful management and execution of cross-functional, strategic projects that are of moderate to high risk and complexity. The Senior Project Manager work closely with business, technology, marketing, legal, and other partners to document desired outcomes (OKRs), identify activities required to achieve these outcomes, plan the resources, sequence activities, and manage execution against the agreed upon plan . Job Responsibilities: • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities. • Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to internal clients. • Analyze technology, resource needs, current constraints, potential risks, to plan and assess the feasibility of proposed solutions. • Confer with business partners project specifications, required procedures, and change management tactics. • Review and contracts and cost estimates for reasonability. • Document and review project changes and implications to desired outcomes. Soft Skills: • Excellent verbal, written, and visualization communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. • Expert ability to work independently and manage ones time. • Expert leadership and influencing skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. • Insatiable intellectual curiosity • Consultative mindset, focused on delivering value through creative problem solving • Human-centric approach to change management • Ability to work well with diverse teams (differing backgrounds, business and technical areas, experience, and geography) Professional skills: • Demonstrated fluency with both waterfall and agile project management • Experience with business process improvement approaches (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) • Fluency with Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.), SharePoint, and collaboration tools such as Miro or similar • Fluency with team/task management programs such Rally, Jira or similar Education/Experience: • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field • Experience in financial industry preferred • Minimum 10 years as a project or program manager, managing projects in excess of $5M • Minimum 5 years managing teams of project professionals and large matrixed teams at all levels of the organization • PMP certification preferred • Change management certification (e.g., ProSci) preferred • Experience in collateral production a bonus
