Nutanix Calm SME

•            Knowledge on Nutanix Prism Central Cluster Management and Platform

•            Knowledge on Calm Automation and Orchestration within on-prem or multi-cloud deployments

•            Experience on Compute Management, Provisioning and Clustering

•            Working Knowledge on both Windows and Linux (Redhat/Ubuntu/other flavors) operating system

Technical knowledge to create OS golden Image for VMs and Appliances using tools such as SysPrep and Cloud-Init.

Roles & Responsibilities:

•            Knowledge and experienced in multi-platform, multi-cloud virtualization and integration (Nutanix AHV, VMWare ESXi, HyperV, Citrix and other Cloud Platform)

•            Knowledge on Compute Virtualization, Optimize Resource Utilization, Load Balancing, High Availability and Disaster Recovery

•            Knowledge on Cluster Management and Virtual Server Infrastructure, including hosts and virtual machines and containers

•            Knowledge on Performance Reporting to support Capacity Planning and Hardware lifecycle planning

•            Knowledge on system monitoring, verifying integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system, and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs

•            Knowledge on application and server migrations from legacy environments for cost-effective measures

•            Knowledge on Infrastructure Administration such as Network Switch, Firewall Management, Backup Storage and Disaster Recovery (DRS).
