Provides expertise in performing application development, configuration, and unit testing of data integration (using ODI, PL/SQL, SQL), and Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) applications.

Gathers requirements and specifications from business stakeholders.

Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends, and refactors substantially complex programs/scripts and application integrations as technical lead.

Investigates escalated, non-routine and high-impact incidents to responsible service owners and seeks resolution.

Leads assessment, analysis, planning and design of release packages, including assessment of risk.

Liaises with business and technology teams on release scheduling and communication of progress.

Ensures release processes and procedures are applied and releases can be rolled back as needed.

Collaborates with development team to design and implement data extraction programs that integrate seamlessly into BI solutions to meet the needs of the end users.

Transforms logical business requirements into appropriate schemas and models.

Create both logical and physical data models, with emphasis on data preparation, data profiling, data cleansing, and data auditing.

Works with the offshore BI team members and business stakeholders to deliver reporting and analytics solutions within the data warehouse and OBIEE.

Analyzes, designs, develops, customizes, validates, deploys, and provides post-implementation support for OBIEE components including Oracle BI Admin, interactive dashboards, BI Publisher, scheduler, and interactive reporting using OBIEE 12c.

Works closely with business stakeholders, developers(offshore) and database administrators to plan, design, develop and implement applications, scripts, procedures, and metadata for relational databases.

Creates, maintains, and enhances Business Intelligence components (metadata, reports, metrics, dashboards) and manages the overall BI ecosystem by resolving defects in a timely manner.

Leads BI application change control management by performing impact analysis to drive changes.

Performs analysis, design, development, testing and performance improvements of complex queries.

Coordinates work efforts with the DBA team for application changes and system performance issues.

Collaborates on testing OBIEE functionality for deployment of upgrades to keep application release level current.
