OCI Admin/ Architect

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• 14+ Manage IaaS and PaaS resources on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

• Configure and manage VCN, Subnets, Routing rules on OCI.

• Instantiate, apply regular patches, and administer Compute, Storage, Load Balancers on OCI.

• Provide administrative and technical support for database administration and design to support a customer's modernization efforts.

• Design, create, and maintain databases in a client/server environment.

• Monitor databases via Cloud Control in OCI.

• Make recommendations and apply solutions such as configuration changes to O/S, WebLogic, Java, additional hardware, memory, CPUs, etc.

• Analyze solution designs that accompany business requirements for technical delivery.

• Assist in design decisions, develop, and implement cloud solutions.

• Implement solutions utilizing cloud resources for compute, storage, networking, database, functions.

• Work with stakeholders to ensure that solutions meet their needs.

• Management of cloud resources and optimization of costs.

• Stand up and manage cloud database services such as Autonomous Database (ATP DB) and Autonomous Datawarehouse (ADW) on OCI.

• Working knowledge of all OCI services like IAM, Compute, Storage, Networking, etc.

• Administer, Set-up and Manage Oracle PaaS services such as Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle FAW, ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) Marketplace is plus.

• Provide technical support, incident management, instance administration, release management, upgrade support, and testing.

• Provisioning and managing the access to environments managing the roles and access.

• Provide escalated technical support for complex technical issues which may include leading problem management cases and providing management status.

• Coordinate escalated support cases and lead appropriate internal technical resources and/or third-party vendors to resolution and coordinate data transfer appliance
