OCI Team Lead

Key Skills:
Certifications: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certifications (e.g., OCI Architect Associate/Professional etc.).
Tools/Tech: Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes
Proven experience manage E2E solution definition and delivery including Security, HA, DR etc.
Build and review design, functional, technical and/or user documentation, as needed.
Knowledge of best practices for OCI Implementation
Implement Best Practices for IaaS and PaaS services lifecycle
Write technical specifications, based on technical design discussions.
Experience with using PowerShell, Bash or other scripting languages.
Proven experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related services.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, networking, security, and virtualization technologies.
Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with development and operations teams to define OCI environment requirements for OFSAA projects and applications.
Design OCI environments, considering scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness. Create and maintain detailed documentation related to OCI environment configurations and architecture.
OCI Environment Provisioning and Configuration:
Implement automated provisioning and configuration management for OCI resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
Set up and configure OCI compute instances, storage volumes, networking, load balancers, and other services as required for different environments.
Ensure consistency and reproducibility in environment setups across different stages of the development lifecycle.

Environment Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor the performance and health of OCI environments, promptly identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks.
Implement proactive measures to optimize resource utilization, cost efficiency, and overall performance of OCI resources.
Conduct periodic reviews and capacity planning exercises to ensure environments meet current and future demands.

Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce security best practices to safeguard OCI environments against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with the security team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Regularly review and update security configurations and access controls as needed.
