Okta engineer

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain tools/processes to secure our systems' access, SSO, and provisioning

Work closely with the rest of the cybersecurity organization to help establish and ensure corporate guidelines and best practices are followed

Evaluate and recommend using machine learning, AI, and data analytic services to improve the security of our products and environments

Participate in after-hours support and maintenance activities as required

Background & Experience:

2+ years of experience with Okta, including relevant certifications

Experience with Azure and on-prem ActiveDirectory

Knowledge of authentication protocols such as SAML, OIDC, and OAuth

Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Strong team player with the ability to build consensus and drive initiatives forward

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or other technical disciplines, or equivalent experience/certifications
