Junior Business Analyst (Software Development)

 

Our Digital Service Line is currently looking for industry-leading seasoned "Onboard Jr Business Analyst" professionals with hands-on experience.

The shortlisted candidate should have the ability to analyse technical needs and work with the customers to develop project scope of work documents and Project Plans.

The responsibilities are primarily technical, although there is a strong element of functional understanding of the business process.



Responsibilities:

  •  Collaborate with senior team members to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for software development projects.
  •  Assist in the development and maintenance of comprehensive documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
  •  Support the interviewing process to help extract and define clear and concise requirements from stakeholders.
  •  Learn to create visual representations of requirements such as flow charts, diagrams, and wireframes under the guidance of senior team members.
  •  Conduct analysis to identify potential gaps or inconsistencies in requirements and propose effective solutions.
  •  Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
  • Contribute to the testing and validation of developed solutions against defined requirements.


Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  •  Some experience in a business analysis role or exposure to software development projects.
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  •  Interest in creating visual representations of requirements using tools such as flow charts, UML diagrams, and wireframing software.
  •  Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
  •  Basic knowledge of software engineering techniques and methodologies.
  •  Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall software development methodologies is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., ECBA) is a plus.
  •  Exposure to working in an Agile development environment is advantageous.
