Job Title: OpenTelemetry Architect

Location : Jersey City, NJ

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement OpenTelemetry integration within systems and applications.

2. Customize OpenTelemetry configurations to meet specific requirements.

3. Optimize performance overhead introduced by OpenTelemetry instrumentation.

4. Integrate OpenTelemetry with existing observability tools and systems.

5. Provide troubleshooting support for OpenTelemetry-related issues.

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align OpenTelemetry integration with overall architecture.

Requirements:

1. Strong experience with OpenTelemetry and observability principles.

2. Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Go, Python).

3. Understanding of distributed systems architecture and microservices.

4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

5. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certifications in observability or cloud platforms.

2. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

3. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

4. Contributions to open-source projects related to observability or monitoring.
