about the role

We are looking for a Midwest based Operations Engineer to join our expanding team. Your primary focus will be to facilitate and service the engineering needs of customer deployments of our Light Recipe treatment systems, and to contribute to exciting new engineering development projects. While the position will be based in the Midwest, travel will be required with some frequency to different operating locations in the US where installation projects will be occurring.

 

What you do

Install, calibrate and maintain Our light treatment systems in customer locations, including mechanical and electrical fitting, physical integration into sites, and system software configuration and calibration

Troubleshooting and fault responses, including customer and team communication, and actioning of diagnostics and repairs

Working often independently across a range of Our commercial client sites, supporting the customer experience, managing equipment inventories and shipping logistics

Contribute to new engineering-based projects, including design, product feedback, and installation

What you bring to the role

Experience

5+ years working in an engineering or related capacity in facilities with machinery

5+ years working in Mechanical & Electrical fitting or General Engineering services, ideally in, or adjacent to, the agricultural sector

Proven experience interfacing directly with customers and providing a quality trusted experience

Ability and willingness to meet transport and assembly demands, which can involve moving boxes or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds for various needs and engaging with a range of heavy equipment

Experience with providing precise and organized reporting and tracking

Willingness to work in a wide range of industrial environments

Networking experience / Understanding of TCP/IP would be advantageous

Experience in using Linux command line interfaces would be advantageous
