Job Description

Looking for an Operations Manager to coordinate and oversee the organization’s operations at the Omaha

branch. The immediate duties of this role will be managing schedules, inventory, quality, improving performance,

staffing, and meeting with clients. As the branch grows the duties will need to accommodate the implementation of a

showroom, sales staff, and project managers. You will need to mentor your team members, find ways to increase the

quality of customer service, and implement programs to track the metrics of our team.

Responsibilities

• Managing staff: hiring, training, and evaluating emplyees, and providing recommendations for promotions and salary

adjustments

• Delivering customer service: building relationships with customers and the community, and ensuring that their requests

and questions are promptly resolved

• Lead the implementation of a showroom, sales team, and project managers

• Create plans and forecasts that are built to fit future needs

• Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way

• Plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency

• Identifying potential problems and points of friction and finding solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue

• Identifying opportunities to expand or shift course based on volume/growth

• Determine the operations schedule based on inbound materials, available labor, and install dates

• Use sales forecasts to determine upcoming operational needs

Requirements and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Proven work experience in the construction industry as an operations manager or similar role

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
