Oracle Cloud ERP Architect

  • The role is to assist the enterprise architecture group within the client’s IT department in designing and creating solutions for the client’s Oracle Cloud transformation.
  • The role encompasses meeting different stakeholders from business, IT, external vendors and service providers, analyzing large amounts of source data, understanding and interpreting how these would map to Oracle Cloud ERP or other target systems.
  • Experience & Responsibilities:
    • Experience in large scale implementation and upgrade projects in SCM, Finance modules. Support experience is not counted. Oracle ERP Cloud experience is a must and should be heavy in the financials area.
    • Experience in studying the existing legacy systems, analyzing and design mappings to Oracle Applications and to Oracle Cloud Systems.
    • Experience in working integrations with other 3rd party/custom applications.
    • Experience in project functional and technical Documentation. Use of flow charts to create and discuss flow and design diagrams (HLD, detailed technical diagrams) to gather consensus leading to approvals.
    • Take full ownership of work areas with the Oracle Cloud transformation project. These work areas include process areas such as Order to Cash, Requisition to Pay, Acquire to retire, Cash management, Project to record, Record to Report and Plan to Perform.
    • Strong ability to prepare and present technical documentation.
    • Communicates in a professional manner when interacting across staff levels and internal/external customers. This is a must.
  • Oracle Cloud ERP related:
    • Best practices and principles in transformation
    • Experience in 5+ full lifecycle Oracle Cloud ERP implementations
    • End to end understanding of all modules and interactions GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, PPM, PO, INV, WIP
    • Experience in Oracle Integration Cloud using FTP, SOAP, REST, FBDI, BIP Reports, SaaS, PaaS including experience with working on-premises integration and 3rd part applications to oracle cloud.
  • Other Skills:
    • Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint
    • Strong executive level presentation skills
    • Strong quantitative skills
    • Strong organization skills - ability to balance various tasks and manage time between multiple projects effectively
