Role Description
 

This is a contract, remote Oracle Cloud Infrastructure role where the successful candidate will work on day-to-day activities that involve implementing, configuring and maintaining public cloud infrastructure (OCI) systems. Other responsibilities include collaborating with the team to architect, design, and develop OCI-based systems and related infrastructure, deploying and integrating OCI services and technologies, and monitoring the OCI systems to ensure their performance and security.
 

Qualifications
 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure with a focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Hands-on experience with OCI service offerings, such as compute, storage, databases, networking, and security.
• Proficient with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and orchestration tools, such as Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible.
• Substantial experience in Linux or Windows-based environments
• Extensive experience in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment across various stakeholders and customers
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects with competing priorities
• OCI certification(s) is highly desired, such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Professional, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Associate, or equivalent
• Experience with other cloud infrastructures, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus
