Oracle Database Administrator III

Austin, TX (Remote work within Texas is allowed)

6 month Contract with possibility to extension

The Client requires the services of an experienced Oracle Database Administrator 3, who meets the general qualification of Database Administrator III/Database Administrator 3 and the specifications outlined below for the Infrastructure & Operations section of the Information Technology Services (ITS) Division of the Client.

This role will provide technical support for daily operations within the Infrastructure and Operations Team responsible for administration, building and deployment of agency Microsoft Windows, Salesforce and java-based application server software and hardware systems.

This role will provide support for all database activities within the software development lifecycle, develops scripts and stored procedures, designs and develops scripts for data exchange between Oracle and the Client’s Mainframe systems, creates and manages Client’s Oracle databases for development and testing, and promotes all application related database changes between the different environments.

experience on Oracle 12c/19c RDBMS

2RequiredExperience in designing and developing data migration scripts
2RequiredExperience with data modeling
N/ARequiredKnowledge of Active Data Guard and Goldengate
N/ARequiredKnowledge of DBaas, Iaas, Paas, SaaS
N/ARequiredKnowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) and Data warehousing
N/APreferredOracle certification (OCA or better)
5PreferredExperience with ESRI GIS SDE administration
2PreferredExperience with Salesforce Platform
N/APreferredBachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, with major coursework in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field

 

10+ Years of Overall IT Experience.
