Technical Skills: 
1. In depth knowledge of identifying performance problems on Oracle instances (Azure VM or AWS RDS) 1. Pinpoint specific cause of any performance issue (CPU, memory, disk io, tablespace, etc) 
2. Evaluating SQL plans to find high cost operations 
3. Query performance tuning and being able to apply sal patches to add hints to queries. 4.' Evaluating need for indexes or query restructuring based on a query plan 
5. Finding missing indexes and relations 
6. Tuning SGA\PGA
7. Strongly driven to monitor\alert on performance metrics 2. Database recovery 
1. Proficient in Backup and restore operation 
2. Perform Point in Time restores.
3. Recover tables - recover tables using Oracle Flashback 
4. Validate backups are successful and maintaining retention

Roles & Responsibilities: 
1. Crseating , managing and monitoring application jobs using the Oracle job scheduler 2. Experience with database GUI tools such as SQL Developer, Toad and OEM
3. Proficient in the use of SQL and PL/SQL 
4. Proficient in'shell scripting on the Ewa< platform 
5. Expert with Azure VM RHEL and evaluating performance metrics to take corrective action 
6. Expert with AWS RDS Oracle and evaluating cloudwatch\performance insights metrics to take corrective action 
7. Performing periodic security checks to maintain security policies
