Required Skills:

• Install oracle 12c/19c RAC software and configuring RAC database on Exadata machine.
• Expertise in OracleRAC & Clusters.
• Experience in installing, configuring and maintenance of Oracle Golden Gate 11.x,12c.
• Supporting developers for day-to-day database and Golden Gate related issues.
• Configure Reporting database environment using Golden Gate Uni/Directional replication mode.
• Install, upgrade MongoDB standalone, replica set configurations in community and Enterprise versions.
• Setup MongoDB database backups using Mongodump/restore, Ops Manager.
• Performed Mongo DB failover, switchover, troubleshooting and tuning MongoDB deployments.
• MongoDB user management and day to day operations support.
• Configure optimize and support high availability (Replication) MongoDB cluster.
• Optimized MongoDB CRUD Operations
• Monitored deployments for capacity, performance, and reliability.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolved MongoDB issues.
• Performing database backups, cloning using active duplication, restoring, and recovering databases using RMAN.
• Supporting in application code migration on oracle databases.
• Perform operational support including security management, scheduling, error recovery, patching, upgrading, monitoring, change and incident management.
• Plan and design databases, including installation and upgrades, structure, documentation, 24x7 operational support, process maintenance and security/data protection.
• Monitor and fine tune large databases using tools like OEM, and scripting.
• Implement and maintain backup process through RMAN or applicable software, performing restore activities, working with backup team and implementing and maintaining appropriate database retentions.
• Upgrade databases from oracle 11g/12c to oracle 19c R2 version.
• Configure dataguard using physical and logical standby databases.
• Perform switchover and failover using Dataguard configuration.
• Perform daily routine backup checking and other user activities.
• Handle 24x7 On-call support for the databases availability.
• Cloned databases using rman hot backup.
• Written shell scripts to check the backup status.
• Implemented RMAN recovery manager & Expdp data pump backups for all production databases.
• Handle User management and resolving application connectivity issues.
• Coordinate with server team and backup team for any issues related to their respective track.
• Refresh database from production to test and other development environments
