Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Encryption SME to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of extensive experience in Oracle, with a focus on versions 18c and 19c. The candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of various modes of encryption in Oracle, as well as hands-on experience in creating and managing Oracle keystores, securing keystores, managing Oracle wallets, and proficiently handling backup and restoration processes for databases. The Oracle Encryption SME will be responsible for troubleshooting and mitigating issues related to the implementation of encryption in Oracle-based applications. The role requires expertise in both standalone and multi-tenant Oracle deployment, implementation, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities:
Oracle Encryption Expertise: Demonstrate deep understanding and hands-on experience with various modes of encryption in Oracle databases. Provide expertise in Oracle versions 18c and 19c, ensuring a thorough understanding of the features and capabilities of each.
Keystore and Wallet Management: Create and manage Oracle keystores, ensuring the security and integrity of encryption keys. Securely manage Oracle wallets and implement best practices for key storage and retrieval. Integrate Oracle with External Third-party Key Management System (KMS) for Security Encryption Keys.
Backup and Restoration: Oversee and execute backup and restoration processes for Oracle databases, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Troubleshooting and Issue Mitigation: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to the implementation of encryption in Oracle-based applications. Provide timely and effective troubleshooting and mitigation strategies for encryption-related challenges.
Deployment and Implementation: Hands-on experience in deploying and implementing Oracle databases in both standalone and multi-tenant environments. Ensure the successful integration of encryption measures in Oracle deployments.
Operational Support: Provide operational support for Oracle databases, including monitoring, performance tuning, and security enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless operation of Oracle environments.
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience of securing and managing Oracle Encryption Key in External Third-Party Key Management Solution.
In-depth knowledge of Oracle encryption modes and techniques.
Proficiency in creating and managing Oracle keystores and wallets.
Extensive experience with Oracle versions 18c and 19c.
Hands-on experience with standalone and multi-tenant Oracle deployment and implementation.
8-10 years of proven experience working with Oracle databases.
Strong understanding of backup and restoration processes in Oracle databases.
Demonstrated troubleshooting and issue mitigation skills in an Oracle environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum Eligibility:
Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus).
Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant.
