Job Description
Basic Function:
An Oracle ERP Technical Analyst to support business process efforts and information requirements required to implement new Enterprise Asset Management and Work Order management systems integrated to Oracle ERP Cloud. While coordinating the integration, technical configuration, and deployment process within the existing Oracle instances to enable business capabilities.
Major Responsibilities
Work with internal IT and project-based team members to develop solutions and ensure systems meet the needs of the organization in terms of functionality and quality
Establish self as a trusted adviser and thought leader (Oracle ERP subject matter expert) to the business and technical teams
Validate and establish strategies for overall oracle application integration utilizing industry standard best practices and design patterns
Represent NJR interests in solution design for security, scalability, resilience, performance, maintainability, among other considerations
Help to configure the system(s) and/or develops systems to support, POCs, initial implementations and subsequent process optimization efforts
Ability to synthesize high-level concepts surrounding new work requests into a set of business requirements utilizing standard productivity tools
Ability to generate documentation to effectively present information to business client, and other members of the organization
Ability to lead requirements-gathering sessions with relevant business members, while representing as-is architecture and future-state proposals
Develop Integration strategy for data flowing to/from Oracle ERP for Work and Asset Management (WAM)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, MIS, Computer Science or comparable major.
Experience with business process mapping, fit/gap analysis, business requirement gathering, finance and budgeting business processes re-engineering and solution designing.
Experience with large ERP Financial implementations (Oracle ERP Cloud preferred, but Oracle 11i/R12 experience will be considered)
Proven project delivery experience through full life cycle from requirements through deployment /support.
Experience with the following Oracle ERP Modules (in order of importance):
Working knowledge of SQL and API technologies (REST/SOAP).
Experience in communicating with, and collaborating across, all levels of an organization, while implementing cross-functional solutions supported by multiple platforms.
Good understanding of system testing, quality assurance methods and processes.
Ability to work with the functional/technical team members to document requirements, create functional designs and to provide developers with functional support.
Experience with one or more Oracle Reporting tools including Financial Reporting Studio (FRS), Smart View, OTBI and BI Reports.
Experience as an Oracle SCM, Project and/or Finance Functional resource system (configurations, data conversions, integration, and reporting), in the implementation life cycle of at least one Oracle ERP project.
Experience withing a middleware supported integration architecture (Informatica, OIC, MuleSoft, etc.)
Familiarity with Maximo and Enterprise Asset Management a plus
Inventory Management experience a plus
Familiarity with Agile processes and Azure experience a plus
