Hello All, 

Role: Oracle/AWS DBA 

Location::Westlake TX, TX(This is 5 days on site a month)/WLK, NC/MMK may be a 2nd option 
Type::Contract 

Client: Fidelity Investments 

Primary Skills::Java 

Mandatory Skills for the Oracle/AWS DBA: 

• Expert level skills and expertise supporting tier-0 & truly business critical 24X7 databases running on Oracle EC2 using DG (observer) and bi-directional Golden Gate technologies to meet zero read and zero write downtime requirements 
• Expertise in rolling maintenance, rolling upgrades, DG configurations using observer, bi-directional golden gate configuration and support 
• Solid skills migrating and supporting Oracle databases from on-prem to AWS Oracle on both RDS & EC2(including tier-0 business critical databases) 
• Good performance tuning and SEV1 issue troubleshooting skills 

Skills and Knowledge: 

• 10+ years of experience as Oracle Apps EBS DBA with EBS 12.2 upgrade experience which is mandatory 
• 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience 
• 2+ years of AWS or any cloud experience 
• Ability to work well in a team environment, as well as maintaining a flexible attitude are a must 
• Ability to develop and drive database administration strategies and initiatives as per the needs of the team 
• Ability to quickly synthesize ideas, options, and thoughts into solutions to management to aid in decision-making.
