JOB DESCRIPTION:
Capgemini Engineering, USA is looking for an architect for a communications service provider (CSP), mainly in the Operations Support Systems (OSS) domain.
This position requires the candidate that is local in Irvine, CA or someone willing to relocate and work in the client location during business hours.
Responsibilities:
Working with the lead architects for the design and implementation of various applications in the OSS domain and their integrations
Analysis of existing architecture and interfaces
Leading the team technically for the implementation of the captured requirements
Develop trusted relationship with project and program stakeholders.
Deliver appropriate and effective executive level communication
Continuous professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods and best practices.
Experience in design and implementation of applications in BSS/OSS domain in more than one of the areas of order management, network inventory management, configuration management and service assurance.
Experience in various integration platforms is required.
Experience in OSS COTS products like Blue Planet, ServiceNow, etc.
Experience in wireless technologies (like 3G, 4G, 5G), satellite communication, IP/MPLS, optical networks, etc.
Understanding of TM Forum business processes like order to activate, plan to provision, etc.
Hands on experience in at least one of the programming languages like Java, Python and Shell scripting and at least one of the databases like Oracle, MySQL, Graph DB, etc.
Hands-on experience with all phases of projects, with exposure in agile ways of working.
Experience on migration projects is desirable.
Ability to work in a cross-functional multi-vendor environment.
SAFe Agile certification is not mandatory, but desired.
