Pega - PL/SQL Developer

Role: Pega - PL/SQL Developer

Location: Tampa FL

Job Requirements :

3-5 years of experience with one of the three willing to take on Lead / Scrum responsibilities.
Pega v8.4 and up required.  Pega Certifications nice to have.  Will be upgrading to Pega 8.23
Oracle PL/SQL required.   Postgres nice to have,  moving from Oracle to Postgresql.  Strong database skills required.
AWS – should have some knowledge.   Moving from private cloud to AWS in 2026
Working with Java loads nice to have

• Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
• Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance
• Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications
• Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation
• Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity
• Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems
• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Demonstrates understanding of overall software skills including business analysis, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and improvement of Software
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
• Proficient in Pega development as well as multiple design techniques
• Working proficiency in Pega toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
• Good understanding of PL/SQL
