Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the assessment, design, and implementation of a comprehensive overhaul of the Benefits Administration processes within PeopleSoft HCM.
  • Collaborate with university stakeholders, including HR, IT, and Benefits Administration teams, to gather requirements, identify pain points, and define process improvement goals.
  • Analyze current Benefits Administration workflows and configurations, and propose enhancements to optimize efficiency, compliance, and user experience.
  • Configure and customize the PeopleSoft HCM Benefits module to meet the specific needs of the university, ensuring alignment with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices in Benefits Administration within the PeopleSoft HCM environment, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure the successful deployment of new processes and system configurations.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation and training materials to support the transition to the new Benefits Administration processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Benefits Administration-related queries and issues during the project lifecycle.
  • Mentor and train internal staff on the use of the PeopleSoft HCM Benefits module, ensuring knowledge transfer and long-term sustainability of the implemented changes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12-14 years of experience as a PeopleSoft HCM functional consultant, with a focus on Benefits Administration.
  • Proven experience in leading large-scale PeopleSoft HCM Benefits Administration implementations or re-engineering projects, preferably in a higher education or public sector environment.
  • Deep understanding of the PeopleSoft HCM Benefits Administration module, including configuration, eligibility rules, event maintenance, and carrier interfaces.
  • Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft PeopleTools and related technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
