Lead the assessment, design, and implementation of a comprehensive overhaul of the Benefits Administration processes within PeopleSoft HCM.
Collaborate with university stakeholders, including HR, IT, and Benefits Administration teams, to gather requirements, identify pain points, and define process improvement goals.
Analyze current Benefits Administration workflows and configurations, and propose enhancements to optimize efficiency, compliance, and user experience.
Configure and customize the PeopleSoft HCM Benefits module to meet the specific needs of the university, ensuring alignment with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
Provide expert guidance on best practices in Benefits Administration within the PeopleSoft HCM environment, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure the successful deployment of new processes and system configurations.
Develop comprehensive documentation and training materials to support the transition to the new Benefits Administration processes.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all Benefits Administration-related queries and issues during the project lifecycle.
Mentor and train internal staff on the use of the PeopleSoft HCM Benefits module, ensuring knowledge transfer and long-term sustainability of the implemented changes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 12-14 years of experience as a PeopleSoft HCM functional consultant, with a focus on Benefits Administration.
Proven experience in leading large-scale PeopleSoft HCM Benefits Administration implementations or re-engineering projects, preferably in a higher education or public sector environment.
Deep understanding of the PeopleSoft HCM Benefits Administration module, including configuration, eligibility rules, event maintenance, and carrier interfaces.
Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft PeopleTools and related technologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
