Performance Test Engineer

Job Description

Roles and responsibilities and qualifications of Performance Test Engineer I am looking for.

1. We already leveraged JMeter/BlazeMeter to build the UI Load Test scripts. We are about 80% complete and need someone who can review what is done, come up to speed and complete the project. Basically we need someone who is very strong in JMeter for UI Load Tests.
2. Solid understanding of everything about UI Load tests such as..
   1. Understanding the web UI app in context
   2. build test scripts
   3. understand test data
   4. establish data driven test capabilities.
   5. understand load test configurations such as Virtual Users, ramp up time etc.
   6. run tests
   7. analyze test results
   8. report test results
3. Duration would be immediate to end of 2024.
4. Should be able to quickly understand and get the needed knowledge on infrastructure, AWS resources utilized by the application under test to better join the dots when load tests are done.
5. Should be able to work with the development team and DevOps team as needed.
6. Knowledge on PowerShell scripting is a plus.
7. Knowledge on Taurus is a plus
8. Knowledge on AWS Dashboard to analyze performance metrics is required.
