Role Description:

"The team and the context: At SAP Commerce Cloud, we have a small team of skilled performance testers and Java engineers that has been primarily focused on setting-up a performance Testing framework with appropriate test environment which can be utilized by Development teams. This Performance testing team needs to be strengthen to enhance further test scenarios and improve performance testing with respect to new features as well as based on customer experience. Performance team needs to work together for upcoming planned roadmap and prepare reporting tool for customer and internal stakeholders.

Role: As Senior Cloud Performance Tester in Cloud Commerce performance team, you will play a crucial role in performance end to end – starting from preparing performance framework, performance test execution, scalability, load testing, performance measurement and reporting. Additionally ramping up junior colleagues in team for performance testing and work together with Performance Architect for customer escalations.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with development teams to measure performance, performance root cause analysis, optimization.

Develop Performance Test script, execute performance Testing in Jenkins Pipeline, measure E2E and API level performance.

Support in Test data creation, automate to upload data set

Find out performance bottleneck, suggest performance tuning, and share observation with stakeholders/development teams

Work together with other performance team members for DB level performance testing (e.g PostGreSQL, Azure SQL, Hyperscale)

Work on Performance Dashboard and PRR (Performance Results repository) for reporting purpose- Contribute to best practice knowledge transfer, knowledge sharing session to Junior Performance Team members to enable them for performance testing.

Innovate testing approaches, methodologies including the implementation of AI-driven performance analysis tools.

Qualification and Skills:- Understanding of cloud application, Rest API, operating systems (Linux), and cloud database (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL)- Proven experience in software performance testing for cloud application- Basic knowledge of CD/CI and DevOps cloud concept- Proficiency in scripting tool Jmeter- Basic understanding of GitHub, Jenkins server, Azure cloud portal- Good knowledge of Java language, basic SQL- Knowledge of Grafana, Dynatrace, load testing tool- Load runner- Bachelors or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field- Clear communication skills are mandatory.*** EU + APJ time zone-friendly ***which
