Responsibilities

  • Communicating with the Planning Analytics user community within IT and business functions.
  • Communicating with IBM Planning Analytics support group.
  • Designing, building, testing, and improving IBM Planning Analytics models.
  • Continually improving and supporting the financial month-end close process.
  • Developing and optimizing the planning rules and processes for data transformation.
  • Managing multiple offshore developers.
  • Global user training.

 

Key Competencies/Skills

  • Advanced knowledge on IBM Planning Analytics Platform, understands industry best practices.
  • Advanced knowledge creating TI rules and processes for data management.
  • Ability to gather and analyze end user requirements, build specifications.
  • Ability to manage projects and project plans within stated timelines.

 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years industry experience
  • 7+ years’ experience with TM1/IBM Planning analytics Development
  • Good knowledge of finance, accounting, and supply chain management
  • Ability to absorb & present complex ideas quickly & accurately.
  • Ability to provide solutions to a tight deadline.
  • Good time management.
  • Have a positive approach to work and to fellow team members.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with IBM Planning Analytics for Excel
  • Experience with IBM Planning Analytics Workspace
  • Experience in leading End-to-End Planning Analytics business model and application development.
  • Resourceful and creative in solving complex issues and working collaboratively with others on a solution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or Computed related field
