Responsibilities
- Communicating with the Planning Analytics user community within IT and business functions.
- Communicating with IBM Planning Analytics support group.
- Designing, building, testing, and improving IBM Planning Analytics models.
- Continually improving and supporting the financial month-end close process.
- Developing and optimizing the planning rules and processes for data transformation.
- Managing multiple offshore developers.
- Global user training.
Key Competencies/Skills
- Advanced knowledge on IBM Planning Analytics Platform, understands industry best practices.
- Advanced knowledge creating TI rules and processes for data management.
- Ability to gather and analyze end user requirements, build specifications.
- Ability to manage projects and project plans within stated timelines.
Qualifications
- 10+ years industry experience
- 7+ years’ experience with TM1/IBM Planning analytics Development
- Good knowledge of finance, accounting, and supply chain management
- Ability to absorb & present complex ideas quickly & accurately.
- Ability to provide solutions to a tight deadline.
- Good time management.
- Have a positive approach to work and to fellow team members.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with IBM Planning Analytics for Excel
- Experience with IBM Planning Analytics Workspace
- Experience in leading End-to-End Planning Analytics business model and application development.
- Resourceful and creative in solving complex issues and working collaboratively with others on a solution.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or Computed related field
