Platform Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop automation workflows to streamline platform provisioning, deployment, and maintenance processes
Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to integrate automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef to automate infrastructure deployment and configuration
Develop monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the reliability and availability of platform services
Continuously optimize automation workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
Troubleshoot issues related to automation scripts, infrastructure, and platform services
Stay up-to-date with the latest automation technologies and best practices to drive innovation and improvement

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Proven experience as a Platform Automation Engineer or similar role
Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
