Platform Engineer

Our client is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer / Python Engineer to join their engineering team. This engineer will also need to be skilled with Infrastructure As A Service and the supporting / enabling tools. Required Skills - Python, Platform engineering, Infrastructure As A Service Job Duties - • Platform Engineering using Python • Strong understanding of Continuous Delivery and Integration frameworks including deployment automation, configuration management, test, and source code/git repositories; experience with containers desired • Experience using Git and continuous delivery build systems (build/test/release infrastructure, Jenkins preferred) • Experience and preference for working within an Agile/Scrum environment Knowledge of core internet protocols including, but not limited to TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP • Knowledge of network administration including, but not limited to Load balancers, VLAN, IP sub netting, proxies and firewalls, architecture, and core technologies (DNS, routing, iptables etc.) • Experience supporting LDAP services in an enterprise environment"
