Responsibilities
• Work on a Kanban based team alongside FM Global Resources focused on Developer Enablement. Working to resolve issues related to application pipelines, deployments failures, and infrastructure.
• Support automation efforts using Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, Azure Devops, Azure Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Focus on supporting and updating a developer experience platform that increases the organization's flow and efficiency of development while utilizing DevOps Principles.
• Implement and support scheduled significant improvements to our infrastructure, including assisting with RCA and providing on-call support to systems.
• Experience
• Five years of experience in software development, DevOps, or SRE role
• Five years of experience managing cloud-based services with AWS, GCP or Azure (Azure preferred)
• 3+ years’ experience with Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• 3+ years of Docker/Kubernetes experience in a production environment
• 3+ years of experience writing software that utilizes 3rd party APIs (Python preferred)
• Experience with automation tools (Git, Azure Pipelines, and Octopus Deploy)
• Experience supporting Windows Servers and IIS hosted .Net applications.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
