PLC Programmer

Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced PLC Programmer to join our team in Bangalore.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming, configuring, and troubleshooting PLC systems.
• As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing automation solutions to improve manufacturing processes and ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and program PLC systems for industrial automation.
• Create and modify control logic, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) applications, and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
• Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting of PLC programs and control systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical support.
• Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades to PLC systems.
• Document control systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and program code.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Provide training and support to operators and maintenance personnel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a PLC Programmer or similar role.
• Proficiency in programming PLCs, especially with brands such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, or Mitsubishi.
• Experience with HMI and SCADA systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical and control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the automotive, pharmaceutical, or food and beverage industry.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards and protocols.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus).
