US Based Transformation Office PMO Support
The role will sit in the Transformation Office (TO) of a large strategic program with approximately 600 staff spread across multiple regions globally.
The program is an enterprise level transformation effort to shift the bulk of technology and operations infrastructure from the firm to a key service provider and partner. The technical scope of the program will include order and execution management, performance risk and attribution, investment compliance, post-trade functions, data management functions, finance, and the investment and accounting books of record. The operational scope of the program will include all middle office functions, the bulk of which will be post-trade processing from settlement to corporate actions, and many other functions.
This is a US-based role, with a preference for the role to be based in Atlanta.
A successful candidate will be highly organized and proactive, driving progress of the program through preparation and efficient use of governance forums.
Expected activities will include:
• Coordinate with regional leadership of Transformation Office (TO), splitting time across two Internal Consulting Directors accountable for program delivery for major phases implementing in 2024 & 2025
o Providing support for US-based (Atlanta) Internal Consulting Director
o Providing support for EMEA-based director (in UK) during US working hours, emphasizing interactions with US-based Project Managers (PMs) on the program
• Supports effective communication & collaboration in weekly & bi-weekly program forums as follows:
o Partner with PMs to collect workstream status reports on time
o Extract key themes, issues, and areas of focus from workstream updates for program review, drawing attention particularly to areas where ownership is ambiguous or cross-workstream coordination is required
o Align with key implementation partner (State Street) on shared agenda, messages, and issue triage
• Supports effective risk & issue management through:
o Partnering with Workstream PMs to ensure important risks, issues, and decisions (RID) are identified, documented, and visible in program RID logs
o Track progress of remediation & mitigation plans, escalating to program leadership as appropriate
o Facilitate resolution of risks & issues that span multiple workstreams as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
• Experience on Large scale transformation programs
• Experience in PM / PMO capacity, additional BA experience a plus
• Knowledge of financial services, knowledge of Investment management a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Knowledge of MS Project and Atlassian JIRA is a plus
