MSP intake note: project management lead role. Ideal cdd: has been a PM, understands delivery, PMO background, governance and compliance, well-versed in audits re: PMO policies and procedures. The role should be able to look at the reports makes sense of them, analyse, and able to resolve any issues. Able to collaborate with stakeholders, PM, leads, IT, teams in between. – Good communication skills. Tools: Planisware & Jira mostly., cross functional profile: waterfall/Agile

Job Summary:
The PMO Program Management Lead (PML) is responsible for supporting project management processes within the IT Client Department. This role involves managing a portfolio of projects and programs, ensuring they align with IT Standards and are delivered successfully. The PML provides support, leadership, and governance to project managers and their teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and IT Methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Governance: Establish and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and processes. Ensure adherence to these standards across all projects.
• Support and Guidance: Provide support and guidance to project managers and teams on project management best practices, tools and techniques.
• Reporting and Monitoring: Develop and maintain project dashboards, status reports and metrics to monitor project performance and progress.
• Training & Development: Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance project management skills and knowledge within the organization.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the PMO and implement changes to enhance project delivery.
• Tools and Systems: Manage and optimize project management tools and systems and provide support and training on the use of project management software and tools.
Qualifications:
• Education:
o Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
o PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
• Experience:
o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management or a PMO role.
o Experience in developing and implementing project management standards and methodologies.
• Skills:
o Strong knowledge of project management principles and best practices.
o Excellent communication, training, and presentation skills.
o Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
