MS Power App / Power Automate Support & Development

Basic Responsibilities (not all inclusive)

  • Develop and support MS Power Apps applications/ Power Automate solutions to support business.
  • Participate in requirements analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
  • Write clean, scalable applications using MS Power Environments.
  • Provide support and resolve related incidents per SLA targets.
  • Identify and promptly handle technical risks and issues.
  • Work collaboratively in a project team alongside other developers and users.
  • Provide project updates and progress to technical lead and/or senior developers.
  • Develop fit-for-purpose documentation throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Participate in project planning/delivery meetings with management and other team members.

 

Requirements (not all inclusive)

  • A bachelor's degree in computer programming, computer science, or information technology
  • MS Power Application and Power Automate experience
  • MS Azure, Dataverse and related database experience
  • Experience in Cloud Flows, Database design and familiarity with ServiceNow would be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience as programmer / developer
  • Ability to write clean, easy to understand code
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision
  • Sound understanding of coding and development processes
  • Experience with working in an agile environment, Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar standard development skills, environment, processes, and Security technical skills.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering or related field
  • 4-5 years of professional IT programming experience with MS Apps, Power Automate, Azure Environment
  • Database and SQL/ORACLE experience
  • Good technical and analytical skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability and desire to learn quickly
  • Strong teamwork skills

  • Work experience in a manufacturing environment
