Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Sr PowerBI Administrator. The Sr PowerBI architect will be responsible for implementing, managing and troubleshooting the PowerBI infrastructure, security policies, monitoring performance, and applying the latest patches and upgrades. They will also work with the PowerBI development team to design and deploy scalable and efficient solutions that meet customer needs.



Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in PowerBI administration
Demonstrated expertise in PowerBI Infrastructure, Security policies, Performance Monitoring, and Capacity planning
Experience with PowerBI Gateways, Dataflows, and APIs
Experience with Federated Services (ADFS) and Single Sign-On (SSO)
Experience with Power BI Report Server, On-Premises Data Gateway
Resource should be gooActive Directoryd with automation skills like REST API, PowerShell scripting and Python to implement any customized solution for the client. Also, details of such automation can be mentioned in an add on document (if required) if not in resume.
Experience with PowerShell and other scripting languages for automating administrative tasks
Experience with Incident management and Change management processes and tools like ServiceNow
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
