Power BI Architect

Job description:
• Power BI architecture
• Connecting to multiple data sources including file systems, databases, and cloud sources - SQL, Oracle, Snowflake, SharePoint
• Self-service data preparation (building Dataflows, datasets, establishing direct database connection, etc.)
• Power BI modeling and SQL querying skills- Design
• Data transformation (Power Query)Building complex calculations (DAX)Build and support of enterprise-level reports and visuals
• Workspace creation and user access management
• Day to day support activities (Incident management, Problem management, Knowledge management, outage management, maintenance support & testing)
• Development estimates, technical design and Documentation
• Technical development
• Unit, system & integration testing of “in scope” fixes and enhancements
• Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications.
• Be able to quickly shape data into reporting and analytics solutions.
• Have knowledge of database fundamentals such as multidimensional database design, relational database design
• Support with E2E Power BI activities, including but not limited to Power BI architecture, data import, data modelling, transformation (Power query), calculations (DAX), building complex visualizations
• Develop PBI reports/dashboards as per the design reviewed and approved by HUSA.
• Conduct Unit testing of modules/objects developed.
• Deployment support & coordination
• Documentation of phase-end deliverables as agreed with HUSA.
• Provide walkthrough of design, code & deliverables with HUSA to secure the necessary sign-off.
