Job Description:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience using BI technologies for financial planning and business analysis.
  • Hands-on expertise as a developer with BI tools (preferably Power BI).
  • Strong analytical skills and Hands-on experience in writing SQL queries to extract and transform data from relational databases and various other sources.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling techniques and experience in utilizing DAX
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles, including the selection of appropriate chart types, color palettes, and layout designs to effectively convey information.
  • Proficient in establishing seamless connections between Power BI and diverse data sources (like Snowflake, Redshift, SharePoint etc.,)
  • Robust problem-solving abilities and practical experience in debugging issues, maintaining existing dashboards, and enhancing query performance.
  • Proficiency in publishing dashboards, configuring gateways, managing dashboard and workspace access permissions, and orchestrating data refresh schedules.
  • Skilled in actively monitoring and maintaining Power BI environments, with expertise in evaluating their health and performance, and proficiently applying necessary updates and patches.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
  • Desirable to have experience with Power BI AI capabilities.
