Below is the job description for the position:

Position Title - Senior Business Intelligence Developer

Location - Washington, DC

Duration- 12 months (with possible extension)

Work Experience:

  • 1- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g. Power BI and MicroStrategy).
  • 2- Strong SQL skills with experience in data modeling, stored procedures, functions, and other database operations.
  • 3- Working knowledge of relational models and dimensional data warehouse design.

 

Technical Skills:

  • 1-A minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g. Power BI and MicroStrategy).
  • 2- Strong SQL skills with experience in data modeling, stored procedures, functions, and other database operations.
  • 3- Working knowledge of relational models and dimensional data warehouse design.
  • 4- A proven track record of interacting with business partners to understand scope/goals, and the ability to translate that into successful data products/deliverables.
  • 5- Strong analytical skills, initiative, and ability to learn quickly and manage multiple tasks and technologies.
  • 6- Ability to work within a team environment and independently develop, test, and debug applications on Windows platforms.
  • 7- Applications development with Power BI/MicroStrategy and SQL/Microsoft SQL Server.
  • 8- Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and organizational skills.
  • 9- Ability to translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for business or product improvement.
