Power BI Developer

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and develop solutions.
Lead and guide the team, providing support for paginated reports and Power BI issues.
Design end-to-end solution architecture and guide development teams on complex requirements.
Participate actively in knowledge augmentation initiatives.
Respond to customer issues promptly, addressing product feature deficiencies and other concerns.
Maintain project and object-level security, in consultation with senior administrators, architects, and project teams.
Implement change-management processes for migrating Power BI projects and objects between QA, UAT, and production environments.
Work with report domain architects to suggest configuration and process improvements.
Maintain scripts and documentation related to the product suite.
Ensure data recovery and backup processes are in place.
Minimum Qualifications:
Extensive experience in Power BI implementation.
Solid experience in Power BI development, enhancement, and migration.
Experience in Azure environments.
Proficiency in implementing Power BI reports from various data sources, including on-premise servers, cloud services, and multiple file formats.
Skilled in creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Power BI.
Competent with Power BI Desktop, Gateway, Service, and Report Server.
Experience in creating paginated reports using Report Builder.
Experience in migrating SSRS reports/Tabular reports to Power BI Paginated Reports.
Proficiency in Power Query M and building sophisticated DAX queries.
Experience with static and dynamic Row Level Security, dataset design, data cleansing, and data aggregation.
Understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
Solid SQL reporting skills, with the ability to create SQL views and write SQL queries for custom datasets.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Experience with at least 1-2 large-scale enterprise-level Power BI implementations.
Experience building a strong Center of Excellence (COE) approach.
Integration experience with R and Python.
Experience modernizing legacy reports from Excel and Tableau to Power BI.
Certified Power BI developer with migration and upgrade experience.
Knowledge of Power BI cluster management and performance tuning.
