Power BI Solution Architect - Financial Reporting

We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Solution Architect with a strong background in building Financial reports. As a Power BI Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing effective reporting solutions utilizing Power BI to meet our organization's financial reporting needs. Your expertise in extracting data from ERP systems will be highly beneficial in this role. Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Power BI reporting solutions. Design and develop financial reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI. Gather data from various sources, including ERP systems, databases, and spreadsheets, and transform it into meaningful insights for financial analysis. Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and data scientists to ensure accurate and reliable data integration and modeling. Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to financial performance and forecasting. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team in utilizing Power BI best practices. Stay updated with the latest advancements and features in Power BI and recommend their application to enhance reporting capabilities. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain data governance policies, standards, and processes. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement in financial reporting workflows. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. Proven experience as a Power BI Solution Architect, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis. Strong knowledge of Power BI, including data modeling, DAX expressions, and report development. Experience in extracting and transforming data from ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. Proficiency in SQL and advanced knowledge of relational databases. Solid understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles. Ability to translate complex business requirements into efficient Power BI solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines. Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
