Skils:
Experience as a PowerBuilder developer using PB10 or more recent versions. Required 5 Years
• Strong SQL skills (HiCAMS uses a Sybase database but SQL skills in any database platform are acceptable) Required 5 Years

The NCDOT is seeking experienced PowerBuilder contractor developers (>5 years experience) for a 12-month engagement for the Engineering Application Services Department (EAS) to enhance and maintain a mission-critical application called HiCAMS.
***The candidate will be allowed to work remotely until all staff return to site. At that point the candidate will be required to come onsite.
***While the candidate is working remotely, he or she will need to use his or her own equipment with a remote desktop from DOT.
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking experienced PowerBuilder contractor developers (>5 years experience) for a 12-month engagement for the Engineering Application Services Department (EAS) to enhance and maintain a mission-critical application for the department called HiCAMS.
HiCAMS is a custom, client-server, PowerBuilder application used to track work, materials and payments on North Carolina Division of Highways Construction projects.
The initial assignments will be to code/test data windows to replace over 100 sample test result spreadsheet formats that were coded using an outdated 3rd party software tool. Additional work will involve coding/testing bug fixes and other functional enhancements to the system.
This individual should have experience with standard development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, unit & system testing, quality assurance testing as well as experience with business process transformation. Design SharePoint and web-based solutions to support Preconstruction and Scoping business processes that are valuable to the transportation lifecycle
