Primary Role Responsibilities/deliverables

 

  • Provide both strategic and day-to-day technical expertise and support for key GSIs in the region. Develop strong technical relationships at the highest levels within the GSIs organization.
  • Work with GSIs Sales Managers/Directors to identify, qualify, and develop opportunities together with the GSIs; if needed in cooperation with the local Juniper sales/SE team.
  • Lead an independent and complementary technical sales initiative to embed Juniper technologies and components in the GSI partners market facing solutions and offers.
  • Collaborate with the Global Systems Engineering, COE and global solution development initiatives with the GSIs technical community.
  • Develop the necessary training and presentation material for the regular tech updates and drive technical expertise within the GSIs SE community by delivering leading edge technical presentations and training on the company products and solutions.
  • Closely track, manage and promote Juniper Certifications and Accreditations across the GSI Partners you focus on.
  • Drive the GSIs technical sales motion and innovative networking solutions in strategic opportunities, seek for replicable solutions and broadcast these solutions in the Alliances SE community.
  • Contribute to the development of GSIs business plans with the sales team and leverage the account plans to further achieve business and revenue objectives.
  • Focus on customer and GSIs driven solutions rather selling point products.

     

Required Skills:

 

  • Self-Driven, Proactive for GSI Engagements, Articulate Business Value proposition & build differentiator in the proposal. Able to strike & drive Leadership conversation
  • Experience in designing the solutions across the enterprise solutions , in-depth technical knowledge of the enterprise solutions , competition solutions in the market.
  • Expert level knowledge of common networking protocols and applications such as Security, Data Centre, SDN and Cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge on IT infra trends, and technologies like private/ public/hybrid Cloud, AI/ML in networking and Datacentre.

     

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Eight years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, computer science, related field or equivalent
  • Designing /executing POC in customer/GSI environment & help demonstrating key value.
  • Campus solutions and architecture , (Virtual-Chassis, 802.11 ax, 802.3ad) , Wifi solutions, latest technologies in Wifi
  • SDWAN Solution, branch connectivity, Routing Protocols (IGPs, EGPs, Layer-2/3 VPN’s)
  • EVPN, VXLAN, BGP & MPLS understanding for building IPCLOS fabric. Able to lead DC engagement with EVPN and VXLAN Value Proposition. Understanding of AI/ML DC cluster Architecture .
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills including ability to present in front of large audiences.

     

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Business-level understanding of how GSIS do business, the vendors they work with and the key metrics they measure themselves by.
  • Hands-on experience with Junos and hardware platforms EX, MX, QFX, SRX and MIST WIFI platform
  • Technology deep insight for Automation vehicles / Network and compute virtualization like Kubernetes, Open stack, Ansible, Terraform, NFVI/MANO, VMware, Open Shift / KVM, LXC, Docker, Kubernetes
  • JNCIP/Equivalent Certifications
