The Principal Business Analyst is part of the Services team. This is a team of highly motivated specialists with the specific skills and experience required to make sure that the implementation of our product at our customer's location goes ahead as smoothly as possible. Every project has its own set of unique challenges that must be overcome, and our team members must be able to think and react quickly to find a solution that works for everyone.

Our consultants work closely with partners and customers all over the world. They have the professional and personal skills required to develop, teach, support, and lead teams towards successfully delivering our enterprise solution and achieving their goals.

As part of the larger Services team you will report directly to the Chapter Lead of the Middle East region.

Thoroughly analyze and capture client needs, ensuring that their digital transformation goals are met using a product-first approach to leverage the Backbase platform;
Act as a trusted advisor to clients and implementation partners, managing expectations, and facilitating workshops to define and prioritize project requirements, often working with C-level stakeholders;
Develop innovative, tailored solutions that address unique client challenges;
Work closely with UX designers, developers, and R&D teams to translate client requirements into actionable technical specifications;
Leverage deep knowledge of the financial services industry and Backbase products to provide best-practice recommendations and ensure the successful execution of the customer' roadmap;
As a line manager; mentor and coach Business Analysts, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and continuous learning;
Identify opportunities for product improvements and harvestable features, contributing to the ongoing evolution of Backbase's product offerings;
Collaborate with partners and customers globally, providing training, support, and guidance to ensure the successful implementation of Backbase solutions;
Actively contribute to the BA Chapter/Guild by sharing knowledge and best practices, helping to cultivate a culture of innovation and excellence within the Services team.

Minimum of 7 years experience in a business analysis role preferably in digital banking
Minimum of 7 years experience in a client facing position;
Experience in managing a team of professionals
Experienced in requirements management;
Experience with Business process modeling and notation and able to create process flows using
BPMN tools (experience with Camunda preferable)
Knowledge of multiple development methodologies, e.g. SCRUM, RUP, Kanban, Waterfall;
Excellent written and verbal skills in English;
Perseverance and pragmatism to solve complex problems;
Ability to work under pressure;
Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment;
Flexibility about work location and willingness to travel abroad frequently, sometimes for long periods of time (2-3 weeks).
Certification associated: IIBA CCB.
You enjoy visiting customers onsite and don't shy away to travel frequently;
You have excellent oral and written communication skills in Arabic and English;
You are based in UAE.

Education

Any Graduate
