Job Description:
Specific Job Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive multi-cloud FinOps strategy, encompassing AWS, Azure, GCP, and other cloud platforms.
Collaborate closely with cloud engineers, FinOps professionals, and cloud operations teams to align financial goals with cloud infrastructure and application design.
Utilize scripting, automation, and cloud APIs to extract, consolidate, and analyze financial data from diverse cloud sources for the purpose of building comprehensive cloud cost reports and insights.
Lead discussions with cloud engineers to identify cost optimization opportunities, provide actionable recommendations, and support the implementation of cost-saving measures.
Collaborate with FinOps professionals to develop and maintain automated financial reporting tools, providing visibility into cloud costs and usage.
Work closely with cloud operations teams to ensure that cost management practices align with operational objectives, enabling efficient resource provisioning and de-provisioning.
Monitor and analyze cloud billing and invoicing data, participate in billing negotiations, and ensure compliance with financial policies.
Stay updated on emerging cloud cost management technologies, best practices, and industry trends, actively contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
Play a key role in architecting cloud solutions with a strong focus on cost-effectiveness, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) design principles and automation.
Assist in the development of cloud cost forecasting models, enabling proactive budgeting and resource planning.
Candidate Required Qualifications:
8+ years of hands-on experience in cloud technologies, with an in-depth understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, and other cloud platforms.
Strong proficiency in scripting (e.g., Terraform / Python / PowerShell) and automation for cloud cost data extraction, consolidation, and analysis.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and experience developing IaC solutions for cost optimization.
Proven track record in cloud cost management, financial reporting, and budgeting.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including cloud engineers, FinOps professionals, and cloud operations teams.
Demonstrated ability to translate financial objectives into technical solutions and recommendations.
AWS, Azure, or GCP certification is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud cost monitoring and alerting tools.
In-depth knowledge of cloud billing, invoicing, and financial compliance.
Ability to lead discussions on cost optimization and financial reporting with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Any Graduate
