Principal Security Consultant
Working as a core contributor within the client's Architectural team the Principal Security Consultant works with key business stakeholders and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the client strategy, processes and information technology assets and their associated security demands. The Principal Security Consultant will leverage this knowledge to ensure that ongoing business security requirements and underlying infrastructure remain aligned through the creation and execution of a security road map.
The Principal Security Consultant will:
- Work with presales team to drive growth in region and help with proposals and strategy to drive deals that relate to security transformation in multiple domains from Design, Build and Operate phases
- Align directly with key customer stakeholders including but not limited to; the CISO/CTO/CIO and/ or the customer's architecture lead.
- Develop, maintain and grow these relationships to become the 'trusted partner' of these key stakeholders
- Act as Senior Though Leader and establish strong client relationships in key accounts to help progress the Security Services portfolio
- Review and analyse current security technology infrastructure and its ability to support dynamic strategic corporate objectives
- Identify and propose specific security strategies, initiatives and remediation plans to maintain alignment between the delivery infrastructure and corporate objectives
- Define the Innovation, Security Architecture and associated Security roadmaps that deliver against the business objectives
- Transition and Transformation strategy: Support development of business security requirements definition, business case and high-level program implementation plans.
- Translate Client business issues/opportunities into security solution/business requirements
- Support client executives in the preparation of business cases to clearly demonstrate ROI for security initiatives.
- Act as a Thought Leader for the client's business goals and vision via regular in-person and written communications with the client executives, department heads and end users.
As a Principal Consultant you will bring:
- A strong delivery background having taken a lead technical role on significant network & system security projects. Task will have included:
- Business requirements analysis and support for solutions/business architects;
- Production of detailed infrastructure designs including physical and virtual aspects of security components.
- The definition of appropriate delivery, governance and transition methodologies.
- Significant team leadership experience either through direct line management or within a project capacity.
- Design and architecture expertise in at least three of the following network security domains:
- Application FWs: Bluecoat, F5 ASM, ZScaler, Cisco IronPort;
- Network FWs: Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Check Point, Fortinet;
- IDP/IPS: Sourcefire, McAfee;
- Cloud Security Services: ZScaler; Azure, AWS
- Vulnerability Scanners: Skybox, Nessus, Nikto, Qualys;
- APT: FireEye, Palo Alto WildFire;
- Identity & Access Management: Cisco Client;
- Governance and Analytics: Bluecoat, Tufin, Skybox, Splunk
- Good general knowledge and expertise of networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, WAN, LAN);
- Experience of multi-vendor, managed outsourcing environments;
- Experience working with operational environments following ITIL frameworks;
- Strong personal time management skills.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills (technical and non-technical);
- A good eye for detail including the ability to constructively review team deliverables including documentation
