About the Role

As a Product Designer III on the Innovaccer Design team, you will be a crucial voice in the strategic direction and design approach of our design solutions. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and fellow designers to craft innovative design solutions that align with business objectives and resonate with our customers. You will translate complex business needs into intuitive, user-focused designs while mentoring junior designers and guiding our design principles.

You will support your design leaders in building quarterly design roadmaps and breaking down projects into focused sprints aligned with the product vision and business objectives. Your design approach will be driven by data, user research, and iterative; you'll test and refine your designs until they deliver predicted outcomes.

The ideal candidate has experience working on a dynamic cross-functional team and has built strategic partnerships with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success peers. You are a systems thinker and can execute beyond the pixels, designing for online and offline experiences. You are self-aware and humble, you know that honest feedback is how you grow, and you're not afraid to ask for help. Success in this role is defined by your ability to collaborate as well as the quality, impact, consistency, ease of use, and beauty of your work.

A Day in the life

  • Create, collaborate, and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product, Design, and Engineering teams to move forward when roadblocks occur and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Conduct meaningful research to learn more about our customers and ensure we are solving the right problems.
  • Participate in design reviews and share work regularly with leadership, customers, and partners.
  • Be a mentor, provide thoughtful feedback to your peers, guiding quality product thinking and interaction design.
  • Block time for strategic thinking, understand the business implications of your design decisions and ensure your work influences positive business outcomes.

What You Need

  • 5+ years experience as a Product Designer
  • Presenting and communicating regularly with customers and key stakeholders
  • Substantial experience building prototypes that conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors effectively
  • Advocating for design approach within iterative product development and agile team process
  • Expert Figma user and other design and product management tools
  • Experience working with and contributing to design systems
  • Proven success in fast-paced environments; adaptive to day-to-day changing priorities and progressing quickly from concept to high-fidelity
  • Great attention to detail and an eye for visual craft, such as composition, typography, and layout
