Position Overview

As a Product Owner in the Transportation Mobility division, you will be responsible for representing business needs and translating them to technical requirements. The successful candidate will have key skills in both eliciting and translating customer feedback and pain points into features and solutions which align with the product strategy. They are decisive decision-makers and communicators. They are the leader of their product area and are empowered and confident in their decisions. Additionally, the Product Owner will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be comfortable presenting in front of large groups. They must be able to learn new systems quickly and must have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. They will have experience in teaching or training other users, and be able to translate technical content to non-technical users. Finally, they are an open-minded, inquisitive individual who is proficient in working both in a team and independently in a self-directed environment.

What You Will Do

Work collaboratively with end-to-end teams on transportation compliance-related solutions.
Work closely with the testing team to ensure the usability of the tools developed and define the acceptance criterias.
Experience in software development projects with agile methodologies 
Collaborate with Engineering, UX, and Product colleagues to align on future product enhancements in the formation of a roadmap
Clear, concise and objective communication
Engage with customers, customer experience, and other subject matter experts to understand workflows and extrapolate requirements.
Attend and/or lead Scrum ceremonies of refinement, planning, review, and retrospective, daily with the team;
Responsible for defining the scope/business specifications for the technology team - from concept to launch
Prioritization, writing and refinement of backlog/stories and feature acceptance criteria
Team backlog management, prioritization of efforts, alignment of deadlines and deliverables, and feedback to the teams 
Interaction with the development teams and other Product Owners in identifying synergies between the different backlogs, stimulating the collaborative construction with local and global teams 
Alignment with the different Trimble global teams in reusing global solutions and promoting the adoption of the digital platform in other markets 
Support and generate product launch materials as necessary

Assist in roadmap planning, study of innovative solutions and creation of user stories and their acceptance criteria
Interact with internal and external clients to understand their real needs 
Perform other duties necessary for the performance of activities inherent to your function

What Skills & Experience You Could Bring

Experience in using tools like Jira and Aha
2+ years of experience as Product Owner or Business analyst
Technical background.
Transportation and Compliance experience
