Description

  • Design Validation Planning: Develop comprehensive plans for validating air conditioning units and associated subassemblies.
  • Execution and Coordination: Execute Design Validation Plans within project timelines. Collaborate with test executives, offering training and guidance. Proficiency in New Product Development (NPD) and managing Change Requests (ECN/PCN/SCN).
  • Reporting and Stakeholder Engagement: Deliver test reports to stakeholders and lead review meetings. Proficient in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for maintaining data traceability.
  • Analysis and Troubleshooting: Analyze test data, conduct root cause analysis for failures in Field/Internal Testing. Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing teams. Efficient management of test data.
  • Innovation and Automation: Propose ideas for test automation, data acquisition, and monitoring. Develop instrumentation to enhance testing and data acquisition capabilities.
  • Competitive Benchmarking and Compliance: Evaluate competitor products for performance and durability. Understand Regulatory & Compliance requirements. Active participation in DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, and DFR activities.
  • Methodology Development: Create innovative methodologies for Accelerated Life Testing, specifically targeting the reliability of motors, electronics, and other components.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Profound knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • Expertise in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong Analytical Thinking.
  • Experience in Accelerated Life Testing (ALT).

Added Advantage

  • Proficiency in PLC for mechanical test automation.
  • Programming Skills (Python/Excel VBA/Matlab, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Reliability Analysis.
